It is an important step in building their confidence as they prepare for securing their first job in the United States. All questions and needed information will be provided to you day of event. Date: March 30, 2016 to April 3, 2016 (during NU's Spring Break) Where: Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, FL The Convention is a great opportunity to participate in an amazing leadership opportunity and network with other nursing students from across the country. You will have the opportunity to take part in workshops, seminars, social events and an exhibit hall, where you can meet hospital recruiters and graduate programs. As a delegate, you can also take part in the House of Delegates and have the opportunity to affect nursing policy and legislature, representing the school and the state of California at the national level. If you are interested in attending this convention, please submit your bio to the Vice President at [email protected] by Tuesday, February 2nd at 5:00pm. Your bio should include your name, cohort number, picture, reason for wanting to attend, and what you hope to gain by going. The decision of who will represent NUSNA as delegates will be made the following day and those people will be notified accordingly. We have 3 certification courses in February.
