We already have great expectations of this lively group!
After their first final exam, Cohort 50 met up for Happy Hour at the Cork and Craft to get to know each other within a relaxed atmosphere. It's a great idea to help build rapport and camaraderie for new cohorts. Watch this group closely as a few of them will be running for board of director positions in the July! Join us in sharing this special day by congratulating Cohorts 43, 44 and LVN 8!
The white coat is an official induction to the clinical team as they transition into nursing professionals. Special mention to our outgoing Membership Director, Jennifer Williams (C43) and our Cohort Reps, Judith McGilvray (C43), Morgan Cooper (C44) and Heather Tennant (LVN8)! Self-care saves lives! As students, we get so busy studying for the next exam, we forget the importance of RN self-care in the areas of physical activity, rest, nutrition, quality of life, and safety. That’s why we’re celebrating the 2017 Nurses Week theme of “Nursing: The Balance of Mind, Body, and Spirit.” http://www.nursingworld.org/nnw.
"Half our life is spent trying to find something to do with the time we have rushed through life trying to save." - Will Rogers Celebrate this week by focusing on you! We are so proud and honored to have NUSNA and our delegates featured on the School of Health and Human Services blog! We are so proud of our success and continued growth. Click here to read more
